CSC-STD-002-85 (Green Book)
BeanBagKingFor whatever reason, I decided to try to recreate the 1985 Department of Defense Password Management Guideline book. I've only ever seen the text, which is OCR'ed from a PDF judging by some of the artifacts (550 instead of SSO, etc.), and a PDF on archive.org. I wanted a copy of it with the formatting intact, but not a poorly scanned, slightly askew, scanned copy.
It isn't a pixel perfect reproduction, but the formatting is mostly the same, with paragraph and page breaks in the right place. I've fixed a fair amount of the artifacts mentioned above. However, there's still areas that need help. I can't tell if some of the sentences are in bold, or if it's just an artifact of the scan. If anyone knows of any different scanned copies (ones that don't have NID in the upper right and U4358 in the lower right), I would appreciate a link. If anyone has a physical copy, please send me a message, leave a github comment, something. I'll be your best friend forever.
If anyone sees any other errors or knows of anything that would help the formatting more closely match the original, please let me know.
